You have a strong messageThe place where people are not looking upon, that is where Jah always comes from.
-Joe Higgs, the Father of Reggae, and Casper’s mentor.  (1998)

Casper & the House of David are hitting the road with its newest release, “David Music.”   With a timely message and rocking roots rhythms they have the sounds that have been missing from the reggae scene for the past several years.  Radio stations throughout the US and the Caribbean receive record numbers of call-ins when they play “Relationship”, “Running Late”, “Time for Everything, and “Thoughtful Mind.”

Comprised of some of the greatest Jamaican musicians there has ever been, David’s Imperial Band is filled with musical talent who play skillfully.  Accomplished musicians who have traveled the world over, they are world renown in their field.  They come together now to back Casper, because of his unique style, lyrics and commitment to HIM.  Each musician, after hearing Casper’s songs, individually decided they wanted to strengthen him and his music.  One by one they joined to form David’s Imperial band.  Their expertise and Casper’s inspiration led to success in the recording studio.  It would not be long before one of the most sought after engineers Shane Brown in Jamaica would join in also, to take the recordings to the next level.  Together they are working for the manifestation of His Majesty.

Who is the band?
On drums, the Legendary Leroy “Horsemouth” Wallace is like a machine.  Horsemouth has played with the greatest of the greatest, including Bob Marley and the Wailers, Joe Higgs, Burning Spear, Freddie McGregor, and the list goes on and on.

On keyboard, the man with the special touch, Lloyd “Obeah” Denton, rules.  Obeah has played with Dennis Brown, Gregory Isaacs, Bunny Wailer, Barris Hammond, and more.

And on Bass, Strickland “Stone” strikes a chord in all of us.  Stone has a long history.  Newer to the scene is Rohan “Fireball” Gordon, who is skillful on his guitar.

So listen to clips now, and make sure you come out to see Casper & the House of David live this summer!
